Anna and Jaime have been friends for over 25 years. They grew up studying theatre together in Ottawa and fondly remember summers with their families in Prince Edward County. They have both returned to The County many times since childhood, and on one particular girls' weekend away, they fell in love with The Ferg and decided to buy the property over a bottle of bubbly at Sandbanks Provincial Park.

Anna is an actor and producer, working in film, television and theatre. She is also a yoga teacher and can be found teaching both in Toronto and Costa Rica. You can find out more at annahardwick.com. Jaime is a professional editorial photographer with a focus on travel, lifestyle and design. She is also founder of The Desert Collective - a collection of bespoke properties including The Amado.  She opened Ernest Coffee Bar and Bootlegger Tiki in Palm Springs, California and now lives in Stowe, Vermont.

At The Ferg, you can find original artwork by Anna’s mother Mary, along with family heirlooms. Jaime’s original photography graces the walls, as well as local Prince Edward County artists such as Christine Flynn. The Ferg has been featured in various publications, including Canadian Living, Toronto Life and Local Wanderer, as one of the top Prince Edward County boutique hotels. You can find us featured in Season One of Handmade Hotels on the Makeful Network.

With a shared passion for community, culture, design and hospitality, Anna and Jaime have loved every minute of creating and curating The Ferg, and are overjoyed to share it with you.
