“This is the prettiest rental I ever found (that fits my aesthetic perfectly). I truly wanted to move in as Anna and Jaime designed my ideal country home. It was minimalist in design with Scandinavian touches and perfectly matched antique finds from the area. Every room was specifically thought out, the floors in the living room looked like reclaimed wood from centuries-old boards and the dining room table had perfectly matched mis-matched antique finds. The home itself had a beautiful combination of old and new. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Picton and we were able to bike around the whole town. Anna and Jaime were so speedy on responding to our messages, super kind and helpful and the place was immaculate when we arrived. You could tell they put so much love into this space. It was the perfect location for a restful getaway in the country, I loved every minute of it. This rental is a must stay! You won’t want to leave and it truly inspired me in re-designing my own home. The space is even more beautiful in person, I cannot praise this rental enough, I truly fell in love with it.”

“Our stay at The Ferg was just fantastic! It has been beautifully restored and decorated to maintain the charm of the home. You feel instantly relaxed when you’re in this space. It is located on a quiet street only a few minutes walk to downtown Picton...great location! We needed a later check out due to nap time. Anna and Jaime accommodated us no problem! ”

“The Ferg is a beautifully appointed, vintage-cool apartment in the heart of Picton. I was there for a week on a self-imposed writing retreat and Anna and Jaime made me feel welcome with flowers, wine and good wishes as soon as I arrived. The flat is spacious and clean, with great light; photos are all accurate. Tucked away on a pretty, quiet street in sleepy Picton (off-season sleepy anyway), it’s a great jumping off point for the County. Also very easy to walk to all local amenities and enjoy the town without a car. Easy communication with hosts, even though they’re off-site. Anna thoughtfully brought fresh sheets for a friend who joined me at the end of the week on the comfy pull-out couch. An exceptionally welcoming, seamless experience from start to finish. Highlight: Coffee and birds on the deck in the morning. And I got some work done, too! Thanks, Anna and Jaime.”

“Nous avons été très contents de notre choix! La maison est confortable, bien équipée, et située sur une rue très tranquille et suffisamment centrale pour se rendre à pied aux magasins et restos de la rue principale. Le cimetière historique Glenwood, à quelques pas, vaut le détour. Le parc de Sandbanks est vraiment tout près, à peine une dizaine de minutes. Nous avons surtout aimé les Dunes et la plage de West lake où le bruit des petites vagues donne l’impression de se retrouver sur le bord de la mer. Retourner dans ce coin, je réserverais The Ferg house à nouveau.

Anna was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around the place which was a very nice welcome. The place was very clean and equipped with everything we needed from extra towels to Bluetooth speakers. The location was great as it was within walking distance to shops and a short drive to the wineries. Anna was very helpful and quick to respond to any changes or questions we had. Overall, The Ferg was the highlight of our whole trip as it was beautifully decorated and represented a historic aspect of PEC. We would highly recommend The Ferg if you’re in the PEC area!”
